This photograph was taken during my travels to Toppenish, in the Yakima Valley. These ladies are members of the Yakama Indian Nation, they are dressed in their Native American traditional clothing.
I grew up in my early years in the Seattle area. Our family then moved to the Yakima Valley, where my parents bought a cherry orchard and grape vineyard. I spent many years in the Yakima Valley, where life was always full of adventures and experiences I would never have had if I had continued to grow up in the city. In my early twenties I moved back to the Seattle area for several decades. I graduated college in 1999 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, in Art. After graduating, I taught art at a local college for several years. I am married to a wonderful husband who supports me above and beyond in all that I do. My husband and I are Pastors and travel much for ministry. I love floral design, I have been a floral designer for 35 years! My husband and I currently reside in Hawaii!
Cute photo. Nice to hear from you again.
