I love to see this blooming vine when I visit Maui. I do not recall the name of it right off hand, but I do know that it is a very rare plant because of the color of the blooms. When in nature do you ever see a flower that is naturally tourqouise in color?!

Tulip town had a beautiful "tulips of the world" garden display that you could walk through. These red tulips were found in front of their windmill and water feature. I apologize for not having posted for a while, I had company this past week and thought I would still be able to post, but time did not allow for it! I will pick it up again for a few days, then again I will not be able to post for another short period of time. I will let you know when the time gets closer! Thank You.

I also love these one-point perspective shots, they are sometimes hard to find, and I need many examples of them when teaching beginning drawing students how to draw one-point perspective. This was my second stop on my quest through the tulip fields. This was another Roozengaarde farm. The tulip growers have many acres of land located in different parts of the Skagit Valley, that is why I have photo's of a farm owned by one owner but different locations. Yes, more magenta tulips, they must be a very popular color because in all the field there were many of them planted!
